Fun outside! 16 month photos

Our little sunshine is 16 months old already!

Trip to John Ball Zoo

What childhood memory would be complete without a trip to the zoo? The pics below are some of Camryn's favorites. She almost jumped off Andy's shoulder's into the penguin pen.
She learned how to say GOAT and loved petting the babies.
We saw the flamingos and ducks when we first walked into the zoo. That's a bear behind the fence...she was curious, but wanted daddy to hold her. Funny how kids can sense things.
Still keeping a close eye on the bear...no smiles.
There's a smile! The petting Zoo was her favorite. She was not afraid of the animals at all. In fact, she ran right towards this huge cow meandering around in the pen.

In this petting area, you could touch the sting rays and sharks swimming in the pen. For any of you who know my husband, you guessed right. Andy and Camryn kept their distance from the sharks!

A walk in the park

What a beautiful day we had at Reeds Lake, just a short hike from our house. Camryn loved looking at the boats and the ducks. And little Miss Social, she said HI to everyone that crossed her path.

My best business lunch yet!

Grandma Lesiewicz brought Camryn to work for a lunch visit. After we ate, I took her around the office to show off my big girl. She LOVED walking down the long rows of offices and popped in quite a few to say hi!
What a great little worker! Maybe she'll end up at Foremost like Mommy and Grandpa!
"I'm trying to work here!"
"The phone's for you Mommy!"
"Spin me agian please!"

Kolzow Family Vacation to Cedar Point

As much as a thriller Cedar Point was, camping was quite the adventure itself. It was first time we've brought Camryn camping and the first time we used our pop-up. Camryn had some trouble going to sleep - about three hours worth of trouble. Andy and I finally took her for a drive around the campground and out of pure exhaustion, she finally decided it was time to go to sleep. After we got her in the camper a thunderstorm rolled over Sandusky - buckets of water, crashing thunder and a lightning filled sky. As loud as it was, Camryn slept through it all and our camper kept us dry. Unfortunately Mom and Dad's tent next to us had a much more rainy story to tell. Their tent and sleeping bags got soaked in the storm. The next morning we woke up to a beautiful sun-filled sky. With the sleeping bags hung to dry, we headed to Cedar Point for a fun packed day.
Eating breakfast at our campsite before our day at Cedar Point.

Camryn enjoyed the petting zoo, as long as Daddy and Grandpa were nearby.
The Kolzow crew...
We started out at the Rapture - a bit more of a thrill for those members of the family who were nervous about the coasters :) - but a good start to the day. From SnoopyLand boats to the Magnum, we all got in our thrills for the day.
Grandpa, Cami and Daddy in Kiddie Kingdom!

Camryn couldn't get enough of the treats at Cedar Point, especially from Uncle Jeff and Aunt Rachel.

Aunt Rachel and Grandma took Camryn to SnoopyLand so Andy and I could go on some rides. Camryn had a great time going on rides with them! Here's Aunt Rachel and Cami after they rode the Snoopy Bus.

But the favorite for Camryn was the Merry-Go-Round. She went on with us, then with Rachel, then with Tim, Jeff and Ericka. She would get off the ride and immediately say 'Gan' (again). Luckily at 10 pm, the ride didn't have a wait.

Camryn crashed at about 10:30 while we were at the park and slept the whole night through even when we put her to bed. We woke up to another sunny day at the campground and spent most of the morning playing in the park. We had a hearty breakfast, then after our fun weekend we said our goodbye's and headed back home.
