Our 3rd Anniversary
It was our 3rd anniversary on October 9th. Andy and I decided to go on a last minute weekend getaway to Shanty Creek.
The weather was beautiful. It was probably the last 85 degree weekend of the season.
And the color up north was breathtaking.
Andy and I both LOVE golf, so we couldn't think of a better way to spend our anniversary. We went up Saturday night and stayed at the resort, then woke up at 6:00 am on Sunday for 36 holes of golf. What a great day!
This was one of my best shots of the day.
This wasn't one of Andy's best shots of the day. :) But there were plenty to follow.
FHC Homecoming
Camryn's first parade was the FHC Homecoming parade on Friday night. Saturday morning we went to the Pulaski Parade downtown too! Next year she'll enjoy it even more when she can actually eat the candy that was thrown her way. She was content with eating her toes while I enjoyed the candy on her part :) It was a busy weekend, and lots of fun.

Brett has been busy since school started with all the homecoming preparations for his Senior year. He worked really hard on building the Senior float. The theme was Pirates of the Carribean. The float won first place - we're so proud of you for all your hard work Brett!
Later that night Camryn went to her first football game and Uncle Dan caught a football for her. Go Rangers!

FHC Homecoming

Uncle Brett made homecoming court. Him and his friend Emily got to ride in a sweet mustang for the parade. They both looked great!

New Toys! 4 1/2 months
This week we got out the excer-saucer. She can barely touch the floor, but she manages to move all around in the seat and she just loves playing with all the toys. It was so cute seeing her discover each one for the first time. She is always smiling when she plays in it and makes really high-pitched noises in between her laughs.

This picture cracks me up. She has so many different expressions when she plays!
We also got the high chair out. It's wonderful for cereal time! Once she's all strapped in, she can be as messy as she wants. Which is a good thing because Daddy taught her how to blow her tongue and it seems her favorite time to practice is when she eats from a spoon!
4 Month Check-up
I took Camryn into the doctor this week for her 4 month check up. She weighs 11 pounds, 13 ounces and is 23 and a half inches long. It was no surprise to me and Andy that she's a peanut. She's in the 25th percentile for both her weight and height. The doctor says she's healthy and growing well.
She got three shots, two in one leg and one in the other. She was smiling at the nurses when they came in to give her the shots - they both said that her smiles made it that much harder to give her the shots. She cried for just a minute, but once I held her she calmed right down.
